Most nights, colorful owner Tucker is on hand -- choreographing dinner and taking your orders. A small entry bar is flanked by two dining rooms on either side. Though not advertised, there is a private dining area with curtains in the room on the right -- great for a small group (4-6). Food is eclectic American with interesting international twists. Cliffside Inn ~ Best Newport Tea Room Elegantly set in Newport artist Beatrice Turner's former Victorian Manor House, Cliffside has earned an international reputation and been named One of America's 20 Best Tea Rooms by noted tea authority and writer Bruce Richardson in his book The Great Tea Rooms of America.
